Continuing Education

CGTC’s Continuing Education is part of the Office of Economic Development which includes the Computer Training Center, Quick Start, and administration of Georgia’s Retraining Tax Credit. These programs serve Georgia’s new, expanding and existing industries through training and developing solutions to the challenges facing Georgia’s businesses, particularly in the area of developing a skilled workforce.

Central Georgia Technical College has been providing workforce development since 1962. Today, our commitment to business is stronger than ever. We offer classes in insurance, real estate, electrical, and human resources to prepare for licensure tests.

For persons already holding a professional license, CGTC offers courses in plumbing, electrical, insurance, and real estate to provide necessary continuing education hours for license renewal. (See Schedule)

We are an authorized ACT Work Keys Service Center, employ Zenger-Miller trained facilitators for Frontline Leadership courses, and access to the faculty of Central Georgia Technical College.

CGTC’s knowledge and experience with state initiatives such as Georgia Quick Start and the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit Program will allow you to take advantage of programs designed to help your company prosper.
